Ubiquiti SFP28-LR-R - 25G Multimode Optical Transceiver Module

Soptos 25G SFP28 optical transceivers are designed for use in a 25GBASE data rate over multimode fiber or single model. They comply with IEEE 802.3by, SFF-8472 Rev 12.2 and SFF-8402, and are compatible with SFF-8432 and applicable parts of SFF-8431 Rev. 4.1. The optical transceiver is RoHS 2011/65/EU compliant. Sopto supplies OEM and third party (Cisco, Juniper, HP, Dell, etc.) service compatible fiber optic transceivers.

SFP28 is a 25GBASE interface that has evolved from 100 Gigabit Ethernet, which is typically implemented with 4 25 Gbit/s data lanes. Identical in mechanical dimensions to SFP and SFP+, SFP28 implements a 25 Gbit/s lane to the top-of-rack switch for server connectivity. SFP28 can also be used to "split" a single 100 GbE port on a top-of-rack switch into four individual 25 Gbit/s server connections. SFP28 supports optical or copper interconnects.
