PPSK is also one of the new built-in security features offered by Ruijie WS6000 series wireless CA for small and medium-sized enterprises to provide a secure yet simple staff authentication experience.
Highlight:
- High-availability Virtual AC technology
- Guest WiFi protected by virtual AP
- Autenticación empresarial PPSK
- Pre-AX, CorrectLink and AirReorder feature for high-density WiFi optimization
- Free Wireless Intelligence Service (WIS) Monitoring and Optimization Cloud Services
High-density WiFi experience
Pre-AX is adopted from 802.11ax technology to dynamically adjust the RSSI threshold to maximize usable spectrum and allow more data to be transmitted. Each AP optimizes the RF channel and power according to each client.
CorrectLink improves traffic load balancing and client roaming.
CorrectLink technology is designed to analyze latency, jitter and signal strength for each client. It also correlates with additional information such as wireless channel utilization and throughput to optimize the best user experience for the wireless client.
AirReorder, intelligent airtime scheduling technology
The fundamental of AirReorder is to allocate the same time slot to ensure that each terminal can get as much equity of RF resources as possible. This can prevent the lowest data rate client from degrading the performance of the entire network by occupying the limited shared medium.
AI-based Cloud Service Integration (WIS)
Ruijie WIS is an AI-based intelligent service designed for WiFi optimization in the cloud. Seamless integration with Ruijie's on-premises AC hardware helps optimize WiFi deployment planning, delivery testing and performance diagnostics. With WIS you can:
- Cloud-based site survey for deployment planning.
- Intelligent mobile applications for provisioning
- Visualize user experience
- One-click WiFi optimization
- and it's FREE!
As part of the Ruijie WIS solution, Ruijie MOHO is a mobile application designed to perform WiFi testing from your fingertips. Comprehensive testing tools such as collaborative testing, speed testing, multipoint testing, etc. are available in the Ruijie MOHO app and can be downloaded for free from Google Play.
Another key feature of Ruijie WIS, WISπ provides one-click optimization by using artificial intelligence-based automatic machine learning correlation based on real-time information collected from your WiFi network. It actually optimizes the entire WiFi network performance by providing the most suitable configuration fine-tuning with just one click.
Virtual AP Technology
In most businesses today, providing guest WiFi to visitors is essential. However, Guest WiFi could become another entry point for network intrusion, whether it is intended or not.
Ruijie AP Virtualization technology allows virtualizing a physical AP into multiple virtual APs to handle different services. Different VAPs can connect to the isolated CA to ensure that the only authorized user has access to the correct resource.
With VAP, you can now enjoy the benefits of:
- Resource isolation
- Flexible authentication
- Minimize RF interference
- Cost-effective and secure
With the AP740-I's dual GE uplink design, two different CAPWAP tunnels separating employee and guest WiFi traffic on two different physical uplinks further enhanced security.
Virtual AC Technology
Ruijie network AC virtualization technology helps virtualize multiple ACs into a single logical AC regardless of module or appliance-based AC. It supports up to 8 AC hardware members in a single high-availability cluster. The AP license is shared from the license pool regardless of the number of ACs in the cluster.
Its high availability feature ensures that there is no business downtime in case one of the ACs fails. The failover mechanism is fully automated and completes in milliseconds, WiFi services are immediately resumed on the backup AC.
With centralized management and distributed processing capability, the scalability and resiliency of the entire wireless network increases. Simplified management also streamlines IT operation.
Traditional pre-shared keys (PSKs) are shared by all users on a WLAN, creating a potential risk of PSK leakage.
Ruijie Per-user PSK (PPSK) is an easy-to-configure wireless authentication method with enterprise-class security level. Credentials can be created and revoked individually. Each PPSK can also be linked to a unique user/machine.
With PPSK, you can enjoy the advantages of:
- High security by using different passwords for each user and device on individual SSIDs
- Simple implementation, allows batch account creation
- Easy to use and offers the same experience as WPA / WPA2-PSK
- Out-of-the-box feature on the CA controller
- No additional AAA required
Remote Intelligent Perception Technology (RIPT)
In traditional network architecture where FIT APs are centrally managed by a wireless controller, packets received by the AP must be transmitted to the controller before being forwarded. When the wireless controller fails, the APs will not function properly, resulting in the failure of the entire network.
Ruijie's latest RIPT provides you with a complete disaster recovery solution and enables the wireless controller series to implement intelligent link sensing. Once the faulty controller is detected, the APs will quickly switch to intelligent mode to continue data forwarding, ensuring high availability of the wireless network and keeping wireless users always online.
Centralized or distributed intelligent switching
The wireless controller series can be deployed at Layer 2 or Layer 3 level without modifying the original network architecture. By forming an integrated switching framework with the APs, the controllers handle all AP data exchange management with ease.
With industry-leading local forwarding technology, the wireless controller series eliminates the traffic bottlenecks that alternatives in the market have been struggling with. Local forwarding technology enables flexible implementation of AP data forwarding. In other words, the AP can determine whether to forward all data through the controller based on the user's Service Set ID (SSID) and VLAN, or send data directly to a wired network for local data exchange.
Local forwarding technology enables large-scale, delay-sensitive, real-time data transmission over the wired network. With the high performance of 802.11ac, it greatly relieves the traffic pressure on the controller. The feature also makes wireless controllers better adapt to high traffic-demand applications such as high-definition video-on-demand (VoD) and voice over wireless LAN (VoWLAN) in the future.
Intuitive web management
The wireless controller series supports a web management interface, which provides simplified wireless configuration and high visibility for the entire network operation. With the CA web interface, the controllers manage not only the APs, but also the associated AP users. The feature achieves control over user bandwidth control and network access. Therefore, the network administrator can plan, operate and maintain the wireless network with ease.
